Medicube has released the Booster Pro X2, an upgraded version of its popular Age-R Booster Pro device. The original device, which Hailey Bieber featured in a TikTok GRWM in 2023, has gained a passionate following—as of January 2026, over six million Medicube beauty devices have been sold worldwide, with Korea as one of its strongest markets. The new Booster Pro X2 is designed for increased efficacy and versatility, being twice as powerful as the original with a larger surface head. It offers three additional treatment modes for lifting, firming, brightening, and boosting skincare absorption. The device uses electroporation technology to help serums and creams dive deeper into the skin, and this technology is shockingly effective. On the original Booster Pro, Booster mode helped increase skincare absorption by around 763%, while on the Booster Pro X2, it helps increase absorption by approximately 1,332%. The Pro X2 also offers a 1.3x larger head area for faster, more efficient treatments. New modes include Mask mode (inspired by creators using the device with sheet masks), Dual mode (combining two treatment modes into one session), and AI mode (AI-guided recommendations paired to the AGE-R app). Users may notice a stronger and more even treatment experience across the skin while helping skincare products absorb more effectively. For best results, the brand advises against using the device with formulas containing high percentages of retinol or spicules to avoid irritation. One tester noted that there is no other device on the market that gives as significant immediate results as this—they always notice a difference when they have used it, making it a nonnegotiable step for days when they will be on camera or in front of a crowd. The device seamlessly amplifies a well-curated, dermatologist-approved regimen [citation:2].
