Forbes Vetted has published its 2026 Best Product Awards, identifying the top 150 items on the market today. The editors spent the past year rigorously evaluating the retail landscape across categories including home and kitchen, sleep and mattresses, tech and electronics, fitness gear, parenting, beauty, fashion, and travel. They consulted with 26 experts in these fields to narrow down thousands of worthy entries to a pool of testing contenders, then distributed products to a panel of testers who put them through their paces in real-life settings. The winners include time-tested stalwarts and brand-new picks that wowed with their thoughtful features, usefulness, and value. In the tech category, the Plaud AI Note Pro, Skylight Digital Calendar, and Oura Ring 4 stood out for simplifying day-to-day tasks like note-taking, managing a family schedule, and tracking crucial health data. The best newcomers of the year included the Eight Sleep Pod 5, Amp Smart Gym, and Samsung Galaxy Fold7, earning high marks for their innovative and forward-thinking designs. The home and kitchen category featured problem-solvers designed to streamline weeknight dinners and improve comfort. The sleep category highlighted mattresses and bedding that deliver on their promise of restorative rest. In beauty, the awards recognized products that combine efficacy with ease of use, from skincare devices to haircare tools. Fitness gear winners included items that help users stay active and track progress effectively. The fashion and travel categories featured sleek work wardrobe essentials and durable luggage for frequent travelers. The expert panel included travel expert Kellee Edwards, Angi cofounder Angie Hicks, culinary expert Caroline Fey, sleep neurologist Dr. Meredith Broderick, and men’s fashion stylist Bentley Caldwell, among others. Forbes Vetted emphasizes that sustainability perceptions contribute up to 10 percent of brand value among some brands in the Kantar BrandZ Global Top 100, and the importance of sustainability as a driver of brand demand has grown 25 percent over the last five years. The awards are designed to cut through the noise and get right to the tools that drive success, helping consumers spend their money more wisely along the way.
